DotA/ 11:33 AM I know recently my posts have been strictly anti-DotA, but i guess i cant keep avoiding it =) Here's the latest on the DotA scene for me. I played a hostel game against Team Vietnamese, which consist of arrogant fools, proud assholes and totally cocked up players. Somehow they still deliver some kick in games. Let me introduce my team. Team ASEAN. Cleo - As Zyphin and I agreed, an arrogant leader, but a leader nevertheless. Im usually the one leading teams not the one being led, so i sometimes have a hard time following his instructions.. He is usually our strategist, drafting heroes and banning others. Nevertheless, He is a great teammate to have, like a bloulder against your back in a storm. Zyphin - Proclaimed the greatest DotA player in Sec 3, he claims that the match against the Vietnamese has stirred his blood, he hasnt been so excited for a long time. If Cleo is a boulder, then i must say Zyphin is the cave in which you take shelter. His Tormented Soul is amazing. theres nothing else to it, jus amazing. He can play anything, but now he usually goes support, which he does with great effiency. Absolute_Zero - He's a good person, and a good player. He usually plays our AOE stun heroes, magnus or tide etc. He has grudges agaisnt the vietnamese, therefore joining the team to reign victorious over them. Sometimes prone to mistakes or just bad luck, I think we need more training together, as a team. W!N- Friends with Zero, we try to lane them together, but its usually impossible =) HE has a distinct play style, specializing in runners and gankers. His part to play in the vietnamese game is mostly insignificant, but at the very end, his contribution would be much needed. .Light - I have changed my IGN, maybe cause im leaving my past behind me. tRaX has gone, and with it the player you know as [M]anta. I have changed, hopefully for the better. And my job in this team, laid squarely on my shoulders, is to carry. usually. I am to play NA, and later PotM, both soloing. Distinguishing myself as our team's solo player, I have no trouble holding lanes against the Vietnamese. My KSing days are over, the new dawn has arrived, the end for the Vietnamese. The game Team Asean draft picks = Cleo - Vengeful Spirit Zyphin - Tormented soul W!N - Pugna Zero - Tide .Light - Nerubian Assasin VS with pugna TS with Tide NA solo Team Vietnam draft picks = QOP Warlock Terrorblade beastmaster spiritbreaker I will not disguise the fact that Cleo was VERY afraid during the draft picks that we would lose. I agreed that their heroes were better, but we have better players =) He seemed downcast when the game started, playing vs. I on the other hand, playing NA one of my better heroes, was getting bullied in mid by a warlock who had quite a bit of mana to burn. Took 4 levels but i managed to take control of my lane, pushing the warlock to go gank, as he could no longer farm. Action was happening everywhere, I didnt notice much but there was huge battles, casualties on everyside. Zyphin rose to a wicked sick, which i dont know how, but i did too. We managed to push in to their middle barracks, breaking them. SPirit rose abit, but we knew the task was far from finished, when the terrorblade appeared, BKB and S&Y in hand. Cleo went for hex and diffusal, so did Zyphin. My job was to own the QOP, which i did happily with my dagon and combo.their terrorblade farmed up to supreme gayness, which saw him triple kill, double kill and everything else. WE could not push in, we could nt win... HE had burzie, bfly, s&y, BKB and BoT. amazing. They team pushed and raxed us in middle, but Zyphin secretly tped to top lane to rax them there. It was their mistake, one that they were sure not to make again. THe game dragged on, we losing everyfight we fought. WE just couldnt over power them. Warlock's double infernal was painful, so was their wards to counter me and the beastmaster's stun. Zyphin knew we were going to lose, and sadly, so did I. What hapened next was amazing. we managed to kill the terrorblade, because he solo pushed against us. Even him couldnt stand up to 2 hexes and 4 stuns. He later bought out 4 times in a row, but the damage was done, his team was wiped out subsequently and we proceeded to end the game. Even then, tension was high, as he tped to our base to rax our throne. It was a throne race, and im glad to say we made it first. Victory was sweet, the looks on the faces were sweeter. Game 2 Team Asean's draft picks = Cleo - silencer some guy replacing Zyphin - Beastmaster Zero - magnus W!N - veno .LIght - PotM Team Vietnam's draft picks = pudge TS Tide Axe WArlock Needless to say, this game we owned upside down. Cleo unstoppable with me holy shitting at just below 25 mins. THey quit soon after, getting owned. Great sportsmanship by them, but you really cannot expect much from them after all, they are?
